Xgate was given the task of developing a remote sales force solution for Nokia that could:
Streamline and automate the way Nokia Hong Kong sales personnel report from the field
Give supervisors and personnel real-time visibility of field activities and market intelligence
Solution:
To help Nokia monitor and evaluate sales activities, Xgate created a WAP-based application localized for Hong Kong that enabled Nokia's sales teams to login with their mobile phones to input operational and sales information on the field. The remote sales force tool consolidated field personnel data, reporting locations and field activities to generate:
The latest territory sales information
Specific phone models sales and distribution
Top 10/Bottom10 retail stores, model handsets
Sales managers, supervisors and relevant staff received periodic consolidated reports via scheduled SMS broadcasting and email as Excel sheet batch file transfers. |
